UPCOMING WOMEN’S SOCCER TOURNAMENT OCWSL’s Pot O’ Gold March 23-24, 2002 Sign up now! The annual Pot O' Gold (eleven-a-side) tournament is open to all teams around the country. Fields are located in Orange County. Proceeds from these tournaments support the OCWSL Scholarship Award Fund and donations to local school women's soccer programs. Tournament Winners

FEBRUARY 26 - 27, 2000 -- 64 teams battled it out at the largest tournament in Pot O' Gold history. On Saturday, the sun was shining while teams competed for their position in the seeding. Enduring the rain on Sunday, the top 12 teams made it through their division brackets to ultimately take home their Championship and Finalists prizes. Champs received shoe bags with $150.00 voucher towards next year's tournament and Finalists recieved ball pumps and a $75.00 voucher

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with field marshaling, setting up nets, lining fields, registering players and selling merchandise. Karen and Curt Chamberlain's Bolsa Grande High School group, Cypress High School and their concession staff, Nancy Patrick's Brethren Christian High School, Lisa Arboleta (United), Nicole Jefferson (GMK), Loretta Nuñez (Sidekicks), Peggy Hagen, Chris McCrossen Photography, Colin Hamilton (Mutiny) and OCB Reprographics, and the Executive Board members.

Merchandise sold at the tournament were screenprinted short sleeve tees, embroidered long sleeve tees and the popular quarter zip sweats. The t-shirt sales were once again a sell out, and OCWSL appreciates those who helped support a worthy cause. Proceeds from this event is used to fund OCWSL's Scholarship Award, given each year to local high school senior women who actively play soccer.
